Roswell PiñataFest is Roswell’s premier free community celebration of Hispanic heritage and culture — 38 years of music, food, dance, and tradition in the heart of New Mexico. Held annually on the Chaves County Courthouse Lawn, the festival brings together thousands of attendees from across the region to celebrate community, culture, and the spirit of Roswell.

About the Festival
Now in its 38th year, Roswell PiñataFest is one of Roswell’s longest-running community traditions. The event features live Mariachi and folklórico performances, a world-famous Piñata Bash, local food vendors, artisan booths, cultural displays, and family activities — all completely free to attend.
Roswell PiñataFest is more than an event — it’s a celebration of the vibrant Hispanic heritage that has shaped Roswell for generations. We are honored to bring this tradition to our community year after year.
